Teacher Comment:
A beautifully presented science fair Georgia, well done. Excellent inclusion of step by step photos to show what you did. You have selected an interesting topic for your science fair. A very clear and concise method that is easy to follow and great to see you repeating your experiment 5 times to ensure your results are as accurate as possible. Good use of graphs to display your results also. You have carried out some good research into why vitamin c is important for us but you needed to carry out some research that backs up your results that you obtained. Why was there a difference between covered and uncovered cups do you think? Overall a fantastic science fair, Georgia, well done.

Student Comment:
I think I did a good job presenting my science fair I think I could of spoke louder even though I tried my best!!!
I am not really sure why there is a difference between uncovered cups and covered cups maybe to see the difference I am not that sure
If I had to do my science fair again I would start my science fair in the holiday so I could be more organized and have more time to write it up on the computer and print it out!!!!

This week was science week and went to the lab to test some cool experiments. Some of my experiments that i did not work so my favorite experiment was quiet easy to understand after we had seen some people doing it.
my favorite experiment was two cups stuck together by string you could hear real well if the person stuck there ear close and person how was speaking
spoke loud !!!

Yesterday we went to the science lab to do some testing to see witch substance was witch these where our powders salt, baking soda, corn flour, icing sugar, cream of tartar,
we thought icing sugar would be A salt was B baking soda was C cream of tartar D and E was corn flour
here are some clues we got to get the test right
1. cream of tartar is an acid, and turns blue litmus paper red
2. Cornflour and sugar are neutarl and don't affect litmus paper
3 . Salt and bicarbonate of a soda are alkaline , that is they turn red litmus paper blue
4 . bicarbonate of soda fizzes when mixed with vinegar
5 . Idoine changes from yellow-brown to black with corn flour

our results were...
A Corn flour
B Salt
C Baking soda
D Icing sugar
E Cream of tartar

METHOD

2. Press one of your fingertips firmly onto the black. place the sticky side of a piece of tape over your fingertip (you may need a friend to help you with this)
3. Tape the print to the correct location on the fingertip form.
4. Using the magnifying glass compare your prints to the pictures above and try to label them as either archers, loops or whorls.
